Just 30 miles northwest of Boston and easily accessible by train This country hostel is only 20 minutes from Thoreau's Walden Pond, national historical parks in Lowell and Concord, and the Fruitlands Museums. The surrounding area is great for hiking, canoeing, biking, and skiing. Fascinating day trips can be made to Salem, Plymouth, Sturbridge , and Boston for history, maritime museums, witches, whale watching and more.

From Rt. 2 take exit 39 (Littleton/Taylor St.), and turn left onto Taylor St. Turn left onto Whitcomb Ave., then go 2.2 miles to hostel (Whitcomb Ave. turns into Littleton County Rd. after 1.5 miles). From I-495: take Exit 29B onto Rt. 2 West, immediately get off Rt. 2 at Exit 39. Follow directions above.

Hostelling International is a non-profit membership organization promoting international understanding and peace though hostelling since 1909. To maintain our ability to offer low-budget accommodations we charge additional fees to non-members.

However, a FREE Group Membership is available to US groups. A group membership entitles everyone in the group to member rates. You must be the group leader of an organized, US based group of 10 or more people in order to apply for a free group membership.
