HI - Newburg - Wellspring in Newburg, WIPrint
Just a 35-minute drive from downtown Milwaukee, HI Wellspring is a retreat and conference center along the beautiful Milwaukee River. There's good canoeing in the spring, and Lake Michigan is just 10 miles away. Participate in the organic garden program at Wellspring from April through October. Hike the trails in Kettle Moraine State Forest-Northern Unit kettles (bowl-shaped depressions), eskers (snake-like ridges), drumlins (elongated rounded hills), and other unique glacier landforms.In the winter enjoy skiing at the Sunburst Ski Area, just a few miles away. Don't miss the nearby Horicon Marsh Wildlife Refuge, or quaint little shops in nearby Cedarburg.
