Join Malena Stiteler, our ‘Big Trip’ essay contest winner, as she works her way around the world in search of candy treats from a multitude cultures.
Malena is an aeronautical systems software developer from the Boston area, who began her Big Trip in March of 2008. Before embarking on the eighteen-month international adventure, she spent her time working on aircraft cockpits and previously serving in the US Air Force in Albuquerque, NM. Three years of saving for the trip are beginning to pay off as she chases her true passion around the world: candy.
