35th Annual Midnight Madness Fun Bicycle Ride

Hostelling International USA, San Diego Council (HI-SD) Presents the 35th Annual Midnight Madness Fun Bicycle Ride!!!

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Midnight Madness Fun Bicycle Ride. This landmark San Diego event has grown from a few hundred local riders to over 1,500 participants.

Midnight Madness offers one of the most scenic 20 mile routes for bicyclists anywhere. Cycling around Harbor Island and Shelter Island offers riders unique and spectacular views of downtown San Diego. And of course the ride wouldn't be the same without the crazy contests!! The REI Light the Bike and Alaska Airlines Costume Contest brings out the creative and fun side of bicyclists.

Both HI hostels in San Diego (HI-San Diego, Point Loma and HI-San Diego, Downtown) have bicycle storage so visiting bike enthusiasts are welcome. For more information please visit the website www.sandiegohostels.org.
