    WE HEART SM

SM H.E.A.R.T. CAMPAIGN: Hostel Endowment And Resources for Travelers

HI Santa Monica celebrated its 25th Anniversary on October 10, 2015 by thanking our donors, volunteers, staff, leaders, community members, and partners for their continued loyalty and support and kicked off the future facing SM HEART Campaign.

HI Santa Monica continues to grow in popularity among travelers and is playing a key role in HI USA’s network of Flagship hostels.

The goal of the SM HEART Campaign is to raise $50,000 from those who share a passion and commitment to hostelling, travel, intercultural understanding and, most importantly, HI Santa Monica.

Since the campaign kick-off event we have received donations and contributions of time and we want to extend a warm thank you to all!!

But we have far to go and not much time to get there.

Your support will ensure that the hostel maintains its standards of excellence, has an ongoing financial base to respond to increasing and changing needs of travelers and the community, and continues to offer a ‘state of the art’ facility through upgrades and expansions.

Funds raised by the SM HEART Campaign will also support vital educational programs, greatly expand travel grants (look for more information on the Community Hostelling Fund in our next edition), and allow HI Santa Monica to further engage and better serve the community.

    The impact of your donation:

Your donation to the SM HEART Campaign will ensure HI Santa Monica’s legacy of providing transformative travel experiences for generations to come.

All campaign contributions will remain in Santa Monica and be used to support the hostel and its education and community engagement programs.

Investing in the SM HEART Campaign is an investment in the cultural, financial, and environmental well-being of the local community and the future of hostelling in Santa Monica.
