Take in some of Florida’s colonial history at St. Augustine, the oldest European settlement in North America. Tour the old fortress Castillo de San Marcos, complete with 17th century drawbridge and gun decks. Enjoy dinner in the nearby Spanish Quarter neighborhood.

Located on Florida’s west coast, St. Petersburg was ranked top mid-size city in 2011 by American Style magazine for its “vibrant” arts scene. head to St. Pete’s beach to watch the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. St. Petersburg also holds a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive days of sunshine (768 days).
