YOU are welcome at HI USA, where we respect and appreciate diversity in all forms: age, race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, social status, national origin, religious beliefs, level of education, professional/volunteer experience, veteran status, body type, differing abilities, and everything else that makes you, YOU.
And while HI USA classifies some shared spaces as men’s, women’s or mixed, we want everyone of all gender identities to feel comfortable utilizing the spaces that are consistent with their gender identity or expression.
We do not permit expressions of hate, harassment, or intolerance, nor unwanted or unwelcome advances, of any kind.
Such behavior may lead to eviction from our hostels.
