Emancipated minors traveling on their own, or other minors traveling alone with parental or guardian consent, should contact the hostel directly for more information on policies and booking instructions.
HI New York City is located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in a largely residential neighborhood. We’re a quick walk from the northern stretches of Central Park, as well as multiple subway lines (1/2/3 lines; C line; B line) that make it easy to get all over the city. While our neighborhood is generally considered quite safe, keep in mind that we are still in the middle of a major city and our surroundings reflect that.
Early check in and late check out are both available for purchase. Please see the front desk for availability and pricing.
Guests may store luggage at no cost on the day of check in if their room is not yet ready. After check out, rental lockers are available for $5 per day.
