HI New Orleans - Opening 2018!

HI USA will be opening a brand new hostel in the heart of New Orleans in 2018! The rich history and culture of this southern city made it an ideal choice for a HI USA hostel and we think you’ll agree. Located just a block away from the French Quarter, HI New Orleans will help you experience everything from crawfish and beignets to zydeco and parades, and so much more.

The hostel will feature:

  • 120+ dorm beds
  • 24 private en-suite rooms
  • Onsite café
  • Free continental breakfast
  • High-speed WiFi
  • Spacious common areas
  • Bike and luggage storage
  • 24-hour reception

As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism we’ll be repurposing two historic buildings from the 1890s and transforming them into a truly unique space. With events, community space, educational programs, and scholarships, the hostel will serve as a community institution designed to bring together travelers from around the world and the people of New Orleans.
